Post-Christmas Post

Christmas seemed real short this year. Maybe that's because I spent half of it at home and half of it somewhere else.
In any case, the Christmas was full of its own special sort of joy. Christmas is always a milestone for me, because every Christmas is so much different than the Christmas before it, and I realize how far one year has taken me.
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas.
Tonight we're having our home Christmas "fellowship", as it says on the schedule. We have a trillion Christmas presents wrapped under the tree. I'm trying to think up games that we can play with all of the kids and the adults together. Mom and Dan are cooking up some spaghetti. Yum yum.

Belated

My friends! My friends!
Okay, so it's the 28th. But it's never too late to post a hearty Merry Christmas.

Oh how the family has dwindled. Look at my Dad's cheesy face--he's secretly really happy that I sneaked my hand onto his shoulder.

Photos of long long ago

PHOTOLOG!!! The words that leap to the eye like long, crunchy onions on a plate. This, then, is the last bastion of defense--the last naked barbarians flapping in the wind to defend their motherland. I WILL NOT LET THIS BLOG DIE. I WILL NOT LET PEOPLE THINK I'VE BECOME A BORING PILE OF CRUD!!!
(Just between you and me...I have.)
Me whelping my brains out at AIP.
Me receiving my special certificatum at AIP.
Masa getting tempted by the STEM of seduction at AIP.
Dan dancing frivolously, whilst being filmed.
Actually this is a project that I also collaborated on, as I sang several of the songs to which they are dancing, with titles like "Jump", "Hello Hello" and "Round and round". (Let's not mention that I sang like a boy on one of those songs.)
Mike (Lethargy), Gabe (Pan) and Steve (Spirit of Seduction) at AIP. Steve was seriously horrifying. I was sitting in the front row getting blinded.
Me...saying...something.
West OC Camp (check out my tired face. It was the last in a long line of wearying activities.)

I would also post photos of our recent show at an Old Folks' Home, but none of them came out very well. I've been planning to run around and take pictures of our Christmas decorations again this year, but every time I've gotten my hands on a camera it's been out of batteries or had no memory card, so that's that.
See ya, pals.

ILY

Something I found in the front of my PNP book from last year.
Wonderful, wonderful love,
Thank you that, through your mercy,
I am still here.
Thank you that, as a result of your slow, patient, overwhelming love for me,
I am hooked on your love and desire it above everything else in my life.
Thank you that, by your grace,
I feel the need to have you at the wheel of my life,
The need to hear from you,
The need to be close to you,
The need to need you.
It is through your doing, and none of my own,
That I am who I am.
And I know that it's possible for me to succeed,
Because I count on your wonderful
Love,
Grace,
and Mercy.

The Dill Pickle

Little moo-moo monger must stay close to the source at all times.

I think we'll keep him.

Make a Little Love

SAN FRANCISCO (AP)-Two peace activists have planned a massive anti-war demonstration for the first day of winter.

But they don't want you marching in the streets. They'd much rather you just stay home.

The Global Orgasm for Peace was conceived by Donna Sheehan, 76, and Paul Reffell, 55, whose immodest goal is for everyone in the world to have an orgasm Dec. 22 while focusing on world peace.

"The orgasm gives out an incredible feeling of peace during it and after it," Reffell said Sunday. "Your mind is like a blank. It's like a meditative state. And mass meditations have been shown to make a change."

The couple are no strangers to sex and social activism. Sheehan, no relation to anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan, brought together nearly 50 women in 2002 who stripped naked and spelled out the word "Peace."

The stunt spawned a mini-movement called Baring Witness that led to similar unclothed demonstrations worldwide.

The couple have studied psychology and believe that war is mainly an outgrowth of men trying to impress potential mates, a case of "my missile is bigger than your missile," as Reffell put it.

By promoting what they hope to be a synchronized global orgasm, they hope to get people to channel their sexual energy into something more positive."

"The dream is to have everyone in the world (take part)," Reffell said. "And if that means laying down your gun for a few minutes, then hey, all the better."
Write it on your calendar and have a happy...peaceful 22nd of December.

(There's an old for me new for you banner. Half a year ago old at least. I want to go back to the hair. Here's how we learn what happens when we try to fix something that wasn't ever broke.)

And I love you despite your hypocritical beauty

I owe you a tender-loving stroke, a short fondle and an explanation as to why I have not been posting on you, my dearly loved and yet shamelessly neglected blog.
EXPLANATION OF WHY I HAVE NOT BEEN POSTING ON MY DEARLY LOVED AND YET SHAMELESSLY NEGLECTED BLOG:
I have been spending many of my days. Let's say half of my days, in a faraway dreamland called the HCS. A beautiful corner of earth, reminds me of Shizuoka except without the beaches. I finally got through all the exploring there is to be done, and I enjoy treasure attics, twenty minutes to go and Kiddie viddies with a renewed zest now that I can say "THAT'S DUCK POND!!!" or "IT'S THE STAIRS IN BUILDING B!!!" I guess now I should explain why I have been wiling my time away at the school.
EXPLANATION OF WHY I HAVE BEEN WILING MY TIME AWAY AT THE SCHOOL:
I have been touring on an extremely strenuous schedule with the Kando Band(o). (HEY! That looks like a breast of sorts!) The kind of schedule that only leaves me time for long walks up the mountain and 4 hour naps in the middle of the day.
Last night we performed our 6th show at the Kamogawa Grand Hotel for a group of Lions, and sold some of our original Christmas CDs. I brought one home and the OCs are star-struck. "YOU have your own CD??? You recorded in a studio??? You are this voice singing right now??? Amazing." Among a bunch of other embarassing questions like "Who is your coolest band member?" and "Are you the best singer in your band?"
All that to say, I have been busy, my dear blog--internet is hard to use over yonder--
But I love you and I SHALL RETURN.
But it's not as if that's all I've been doing.
EXPLANATION AS TO WHAT ELSE I'VE BEEN DOING IF THAT'S NOT ALL I'VE BEEN DOING:
Learning Bell-chimes to play with a group of clowns in hospitals, etc, for Christmas
Writing a long song to the words of Art of War pt 1 (so that I can memorize it)
Missing my parents who are in Shizuoka eating Christmas dinners
Having my good friend and new Active Member from Shiz over for a night
Trying to study to take the GED after Christmas
Manning a "quote of the day" section of the bulletin board in the dining room.
Choosing happiness.
