A little something to remind you that you cannot run away from me.

Huh?

I just came back from a blog that had me listed with the likes of Joe, Haven, and Neo as a music blog.
GOD FORBID.
I like music blogs, and they certainly have their place, although I rarely download from them. I hate downloading underground music. Unless I get it firsthand from a trusted source.
But I am NOT a music blog.

I'm Such A Power Mom

I don't know what's wrong with me. But something is definitely wrong with me.
I am really super enjoying my niece. I can hardly wait until the other one comes so that I can have double the fun. I feel like such a mom! I just dressed her in her get-out clothes and sent her off with Dan, and I feel so victorious. We had a great, godly word-time, wherein we read "Don't Go Mommy!", that super traumatizing story about David's mother leaving him for the Lord's work. It was such a miraculous find since I cracked the green book open and there it was, beckoning to me, pleading to be read. Gabe and Windy, your child is learning the most golden lessons of life. You're welcome.
And then we watched the Treasure Attic about the Bible (I love Treasure Attics). When the "You Are God's Child" song came on at the end, God knows why, but I was really moved. Like, wow. I am God's child! And Layla reverently says, "Look, those little girls are like me, and God loves us all the same!" For some reason I started getting all teary-eyed (something is SERIOUSLY wrong with me), and Layla looks at me and says with an annoyed sort of sigh, "They're like ME, Auntie Florence, not like YOU."
I've since begun looking for a new religion. (<--big FAT lie)

The Blow Job Video

Hahahaha!!! Oh no! I've gone and posted contraband on my blog! Parents beware!!
I thought I wouldn't enjoy this as much as Yuki promised that I would, but I did. Maybe it's just because I've had a long, somewhat ironic day, and I've got a whole mound of work still ahead of me that I'm trying to be optimistic about. Whatever, I hope it makes your (whoever you are) day.

Steve, send me a link to the blowjob video!

Hello
You're beautiful
I saw you from where I am a step behind you
In line for such an awfully long time
You'd think they should've figured out those orders by now
I saw the way you looked into your starbucks cup
As if you lost the world inside of it
And I can't say I know where your smile's held up at
But if I'd seen it I'm sure I'd have loved to see it again

Oops I pulled a muscle
Holding my heart too far out in front of me.
But I've been watching as you try to fade away
Wishing that somehow I could make your day

Hello
You're fabulous
Forgive me for even saying so, I know, I know
We share a seat, and that's all there is to it
No conversation obligation
But I can't help but admire the way you've been
Faithfully feeding your phone's need for attention
And cleverly punching all the right buttons
Whoever gets that message is lucky to have you as a friend

Oops I pulled a muscle
Holding my heart too far out in front of me.
But I've been watching you as you try to fade away
Wishing that somehow I could make your day.

Hello
You're astonishingly
Perfect--a perfect blend of personality
I want to buy the thing you're advertising
I think it'd suit me
I wish you'd take your eyes off of the ground
And unzip the corners of your cunning little frown
Dance and turn your world upside down
I'm blessed to have been in it for one minute

Oops I pulled a muscle
Holding my heart too far out in front of me.
But I've been watching you as you try to fade away
Wishing that somehow I could make your day

And I'll be around as often as I can
To notice that you're beautiful and
I'll give you all the love that's in me for givin
Cause love is the only thing that makes life worth livin

It's a wonderful life

As much as I suspect I will bore my readers with nebulous accounts of things that happen in my life, I must take this time to allow you all to envy my wonderful life.
  • Because I was treated to yummy Costco food today.
  • Because Bayside and my home contrived a clever surprise birthday party for me last night.
  • Because Shun, Steve, and Yosh were at aforementioned birthday party.
  • Because my roommates took me out on the night before my birthday and bought a bunch of snacks, etc., wherewith we partied like no manana.
  • Because Mach made the most delicious birthday cake.
  • Because the taste of Hokkaido ice cream is still lingering on my tastebuds.
  • Because I have a lot of happy juice under my bed.
  • Because I got a lot of cute birthday presents.
  • And because I am 18 and lovin it.

Mister Micah appalled at the goings-on of the main road.Delicious and nutritious. The only GP photo in a batch of silly girlie pictures.Mach working the work on her mango slushie.Dad, working the work on his sauerkraut.Florence working the work on her Hokkaido ice cream, while subsequently shooing away the camera.

To jog your memory
