Linky linky

Two new links: Rosie, who seems to have a wondrous personality (Hey! Like me! OSTENTATIOUS SMILE!!!)
And Haven, whose meek(y...oh what a lame joke)ness and songwriting ability I have always admired.

And why is it that everyone uses blogger? Blog is just as cool. Seriously, if you're going to start a blog, be original with a shorter url.

As a dumb sheep to the shearer, I followed in Niki's path.
I am still oh so new to all this, but yeah, the blogger templates are getting really boring.

Ha!

I went over to blog.com, and I wouldn't want a blog with ads and space limits. I read the comparison chart, and man, they should consider checking Blogger and updating their comparison chart, as Blogger added more features since they wrote that chart up.

But I guess I took Blogger since I didn't know beans about blog hosting, it was recommended to me. But I've been blogging there for some time now, too lazy to change, and I'm doing fine with Blogger.

Eek. Long comment.

Year fine. See, most bloggers don't care enough about their sites to care about the sorta stuff you mentioned (if they don't care to tamper with their blogger template, and keep it the same as half of the rest of their friends). So basically, they want a place to type their words that isn't too hard on the eyes.

You said it, Flo.

"...they want a place to type their words that isn't too hard on the eyes."

I don't have TIME to mess with my template anyway. I have two kids and my new hobby is doing laundry :).

I know I am straight from the cookie cutter, but I've always liked black anyways.

I just made your point. I really like your blog, though, Flo. I'm gonna check out blog now.

AHhh...you don't really need to cross over!
I mean, if you've already got a blogger account it doesn't matter so much, because all that's different is the templates, and there are fewer of them, but what matters is that they're different from Blogger's, so you can be different from all the other Family people who have Blogger blogs.
Really, very superficial reasoning.

Year? I don't get it.

Yeah, I tampered with my template and felt good about doing so. And I will countinue to do so.

I understand your point.

That is, blog.com is for lazy people who don't tamper with their templates. (giggle)

Ah, I long for the day when I shall be free and rid of this Blogger, blog.com, blah whatever clone sites and have my own domain and site that I coded from scratch.

Sigh.
