Honorable Mention

The happy boy in the above photo is Abner. Someone recently told me that I "blasted" him a lot. I don't actually remember ever really blasting him, but, if I did (and I might be the sort of person that blasts without knowing it), he deserves big hugs for still liking me. I miss you, and don't make me feel bad about not having said it before. It's so weird, I bet you'd actually hate being mentioned in random on my blog. And now you have to up and pull a sen-si on me.
And since I'm already on the subject, maybe I should do some publicity about his heavy metal.
Or...maybe not.

Here are another few honorable photos of honorable people:

And that's all that I have the energy to post. Goodnight.

Ha, nice one.
Except now that you commented as anonymous people are going to think you're just a mean detractor.

As soon as I saw "crazynik has left a comment", I knew it must be about the Gene picture.
That's just one of the more GP ones.

Hmmm, "mean detractor". How very cultish and brainwashed that sounds. While I am undoubtedly a "mean detractor" occassionally (less and less as I care less and less), I much prefer "bitch" or "whore". While bitch quite clearly means "female dog", and "whore" describes a person who sells sexual favors, and I am neither, mean detractor is harder to pin down. Mainly because detractor is already such a derogatory term that it's hard to imagine a "nice" one. So a mean one? My very own sister, using such terms. Tsk tsk. Even the very cold "outsider" would be less hostile. The hillarious "systemite" would add a touch of humor. I'll even take "pagan" with a sense of satisfaction, because it suggests a certain friendly resignation to personal choice. But mean detractor paints a picture of somebody who lurks about, meanly, plotting the next step in their ongoing detraction, as though everyone who leaves the Family immediately gets involved with the "detractors", instead of, say, going to school, working, raising children, opening a bank account, going on vacation, meeting new people, falling in love, remembering birthdays, getting therapy, exercising, or eating.

"Mean detractors" simply must go. Consider it tantimount to "nigger", no, "mean nigger". No, "mean cracker lovin' nigger". Try that one out on your friendly neighborhood blackman and see how it works out for you.

Sweetness,
While you and I both know an alternative use for the term "detractor", I used it by the dictionary definition, which means "a person who speaks ill of" in this case, me.
So while your tired rant was very eloquent and exciting, I don't know if it was super duper spot-on right at this point in time. You should know well enough that I wouldn't call you a detractor. Breathe easy.
I call people who say mean things about me on my blog detractors, because it's a good word to describe what they do. Is there another word sort of similar that I could use to prevent any misunderstandings and mid-night railings-on?

wow, such interesting shiner prizes today...
all very nice photos, i wish you picked one of both my eyes open, but there aren't many pictures of people winking these days. perhaps because its sort of queer to wink at a camera.
post some more pictures, less GP ones. :)

Anonymous,
The person who commented above is my sister, and no one knows what she means by her comments as well as I do, so I feel justified in deleting your comment because it was misinformed and potentially hurtful. I don't want anyone feeling free to use my blog as a place to plant mean comments, so I'm deleting it.
I don't believe in labeling former family members at large or generalizing about them. Some of them are nice people and some of them are not so nice, like people anywhere. Please don't make comments implying that you "agree" with me, and then carrying my words on to mean something different, because then your strange prejudices get pegged to me.

I don't know many people in those photos. But look...there's Shunnie. I know him. He's just the nicest guy. I miss him.

Florence, I am often amazed at your wit. You have a way with words. I wish I did. It would probably save me a lot of trouble. Heh.

Abner, she means to say that, while the handsomeness about you will always be the same, you certainly are more manly, cool, and sexy (?) than the last time she saw you!
Isn't that right...Alyx?

Miss b, once again you grace me with undeserved words of love. The happiness is growing.

Joan, I look pretty in the normal orange shirt that you can't really see because it's half covered by Kazu's body? Nice! Thanks!
